Trip in 2010 - Ho Chi Minh Vietanam

dah pegi  nearly a week, baru tau cerita di bawah ni..... hehehehehe, kalau tak tu yang tau ben tanh market, cu chi tunnel jek...


Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam and is located near the Mekong Delta. Under the name, Prey Nokor, it was the main port of Cambodia, before being annexed by the Vietnamese in the 17th century. Under the name Saigon, it was the capital of the French colony of Cochinchina, and later of the independent state of South Vietnam from 1954 to 1975. In 1975, Saigon was merged with the surrounding province of Gia Định and renamed Hồ Chí Minh City.




The city center is situated on the banks of the Saigon River, 60 kilometers (37 mi) from the South China Sea and 1,760 kilometers (1,094 mi) south of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
 
all in all, total damage is 2 million DONG, 100 USD, 100 RM , charge to credit card another 1.2 mil DONG and 87 USD.
 

 
my conclusion, the trip was OK. but being without my dearest and my children.. miss them a lot.. and nobody was there to scold me from any stupid and impromptu shopping habit of mine... hehehehe.

and, again ppl ask... what is so fun in HCM... biasa2 je lah... shopping ok lah juga... bolehlah 3/4 pasang baju siap... 2 baju adidas , 3/4 pasang gown smocking, souveniour kecik2 untuk anok beranok dan kawan2.
 
kalau tanya nak pegi lagi?.. boleh lah kut..this time with my family.
 
oh ya makan2... we had no problem, as the tourist guide is muslim and guided us through all halal restaurant own ... samsudin halal, halal saigon, inland curry house (at the back of the mosque) and VN halal. we ate nasi goreng most of the time and in inland curry house..of course lah..curry. but here in vietnam, they dont use cococnut milk, but the cococnut juice.
othe speciality is...vietnam coffeee.... very aromatic and flavery and rich.... sedap.

Ground tour                    - RM800 ( hotel thuan thien twin sharing and lunch and dinner)
CU CHI tunnel + tansport  - RM50 (admission and transport)
Water Puppet Show - 40,000 DONG

New School for wkh jr and cik totet

can you imagine that in 3 years, my son has experienced 4 different school and consume in 4 canteens?

well apa2 pun hope really for the best. nampaknya he is quite happy in his new school. especially with all those busting activities and luckily for him the density of the school is quite low hence it allows std 3 student to take apart in KOKO. so... ping-pong and tkrs - the schoold chose for them not the other way around, for wkh jr as long as it is KOKO... he is already beaming with a mile and got excited for the whole night....  apa lagi... raket ping pong dah beli (puas mami dia ajar, bat la abng bukan raket) ... ni tunggu gaji nak gi beli uniform tkrs pulak... yup... tunas kadet reamaja sekolah... alahai.....

on the other hand, my other little honey boney also has new experience added to her pre-school life 
4 yrs - laman cerdik ( only 4 months at the beginning, joining field trip in july and december for day care)
5 yrs - AG kindi (sort of day care as well) - got 7th and 2nd place...
6 yrs - little calip' - aaaa bababa cacaca

still havent seen any development yet. mudah2an by 6, she can read and write well. as for now, she can draw quite well... and read 2 sylibull and a bit of addition. kat sekolah tak tahu belajar apa lagi....
